The Eastwood, the Cleef, and the Wallach

Recently, I watched Sergio Leone’s film, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”. This movie is the last of the Dollars Trilogy but I didn’t get (too) confused. This was my first time watching a Western movie. I pressed the play button hesitantly because I could not imagine how a movie about dusty, thirsty men riding on horses could get a 8.9 rating on IMDb.

I liked the movie! (insert happy face) This movie was surprisingly funny at times. Leone was able to create an abundance of suspense in the final battle between the three distinctive characters; it had me biting my nails. Plus, the soundtrack was amazing. In the ending, when Blondie was riding away on his horse into the horizons and the theme song was blasting, I thought to myself, “What a majestic ending!”

There are two types of people in this world, my friend. Those who are addicted to “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly” theme song and those who aren’t.
