This week is going to be the craziest, busiest, and most important week of my summer. I’ll just leave you with my recreation of Paul Bacon’s book cover. If you haven’t read Joseph Heller’s novel, Catch-22, then I do not know what you are doing with your life! If you read it and did not like it, then, my friend, we have very different taste in humour.
Bewared, the book is a rollercoaster ride of laughter and graveness. The literary devices employed brings the plot and setting (WWII) to a whole new level. Heller created fascinating characters that reflect society during times of turmoil. And he used numerous fancy words, such as “corpulent” instead of “fat”. Haha.
Life is comprised of many catch-22’s. Take job searching as an example. It is going to be your very first job, but no one wants to hire you because you have no job experience. If you are in this situation, like me sadly, don’t fret. We are getting there. Keep searching.
