Figure drawing is quite an interesting experience. You start with a vague idea of how you want to approach the drawing. And then you keep rolling with it. Sometimes the idea turns out great, sometimes it doesn’t. (Sometimes you make your teacher look really fat by accident. Oops.)
This drawing was not my favourite when I finished, but looking back, it was a decently strong sketch. If I learned anything from art in the last 95% of my life, it is that art never turns out the way you think it will; a beautiful aspect of art is the connection between the mind and the approach in real life.
